Occupational Therapy

Occupational Therapy is a regulated health profession dedicated to helping individuals achieve and maximize independence in all areas of their lives.  At Achieve, we use therapeutic activity to improve an individual’s ability to fully pariticpate in school or work, to gain autonomy in self care, and to fully engage and learn in play and leisure.  Our therapists take into account the client’s environment and family in order to focus on goal and skills that are meaningful and attainable for each individual.

We will provide assessment and treatment of:

  • Fine Motor Difficulties
  • Sensory Processing Disorders
  • Anxiety and Social/Emotional Regulation
  • Developmental Concerns (from as early as 2 months old)
  • Play Skills
  • Social Skills
  • Gross Motor Challenges
  • Developmental Coordination Disorders (DCD)
  • Postural Challenges and Primitive Reflexes
  • Visual Motor Skills
  • Self Care Skills
  • Brain Injuries
  • Chronic Pain Management
